Screenplays
(with Ron Hier)
Ron and I have been collaborating for years, since our
1970 epic production Blood Creature From Beyond the Grave
won runner-up at the Quebec Student Film Awards. Since that time we have written
the following screenplays:
- Tam Lin: Guided by an ancient Scottish legend, a young woman
must battle the evil Fairy Queen to bring her mysterious lover
back to the mortal world.
- Windigo (optioned twice,
currently available): A Canadian Mountie
brings in a murderer apparently possessed by a cannibal spirit,
and must choose between Western and native systems of justice.
- Burned: A badly burned teenager becomes poster-boy for a
crooked charity.
- Confessions of a Justified Sinner: Egged on by his
mysterious double and believing he cannot be damned, a religious
fanatic sets out to punish the sinners of the world, including
his own family.
They are all wonderful stories, but have yet to find a
producer. Click here to

Prose
For several years, I have been struggling to bring
The Acts of Simon Magus to the world. He is a fascinating character
with a wealth of legendary doings, which I am assembling into a work of
historical fantasy. You can
